Hi, i'm using a setup consisting of 7-8 instruments connected through gpib to a pc via an agilent 82357b usb/gpib interface. And record research-quality measurements with linux. īut the data from the keysight 82357b only required. The linux-gpib tarball contains hotplug scripts for automatically running the fxload program to upload the firmware and to run gpib config after the firmware is uploaded. The agilent 82357a and 82357b require a firmware upload before gpib config is run to become functional after being plugged in. I tried on different pc to gpib instruments.
